Surviving a series of name changes and a series of mind numbing concerts, the Glen Helen Ampitheater is the largest outdoor concert venue in the United States. The 65,000 seat arena, located in the Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernadino, California, the arena was literally made to host festivals. Designed to provide a location for Steve Wozniak's 1982 US Festival, the Glen Helen has since been the venue for such events as Ozzfest, Knotfest, the Mayhem Festival, CrueFest, and the Anger Management Tour, to name a select a few. But that's not too say the Glen Helen doesn't host great non festival musical performances. The legendary Tina Turner performed there during her What's Love tour in 1993, the performance of which was recorded and released as her live album.
