Ohio Stadium is a football stadium in Columbus, OH. Located on the Ohio State University Campus, it serves as the home venue for the Ohio State Buckeyes football team. The stadium is also known by its nicknames, ‘the Horseshoe’, ‘the Shoe’, and ‘the House that Harley built’. When the stadium opened in 1922, it had a seating capacity of 66,610 but, due to renovations, that number is now up to 104, 944. The stadium has seen many great events and has even served its purpose as a concert venue. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
