If you want to get "all folked up," there's no better place than the Kent Stage. The Kent first opened its doors in 1927 as a silent film and vaudeville house, but one might say that it truly arrived in 2002, when the Western Reserve Folk Arts Association took over, and it was noted the Best Acoustic Venue in Northeast Ohio by Plain Dealer when Nickel Creek stepped out in front of the mike and performed an encore. Now a well established staple of the community the 642 capacity Kent Stage is the site of the Kent Folk Festival, The Kent Blues Festival the Kent Reggae Festival, and of course, the renowned All Folked Up Bar.
