The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum is a multi-purpose arena located in Fort Wayne, IN. The arena opened in 1952 and was originally designated as a venue for hockey or basketball. In 1989, a Exposition Center opened within the Coliseum which serves as the site for trade shows and other events. Further construction increased the capacity of the arena to 10,500 for hockey and 13,000 for concerts and basketball. The Coliseum is located near the famous Johnny Appleseed Park.
