Because the playing surface of the stadium is surrounded by a running track, the full width of the end zones is not available at the end lines. As a result, it is the only CFL stadium that has had to cut the corners on the end zones, besides Edmonton's Commonwealth, but as fans will tell you, that only makes room for more excitement.
