If you're looking for some entertainment in Tulsa,Oklahoma, prepare to lay it down Okie style at the Brady Theater. billed as the largest hall between Kansas City and Houston, when it opened in 1914, the Brady may have been the inspiration for a home improvement reality show. In 1930, world renowned architect Bruce Goff was given thirty day to transform the barn like interior of the Brady into an elegant show place. During the following month, the Bard would receive vertical plaster wall panels, decorated with gold, acoustic ceiling lies painted in white, blue, green, and gold, gilded air conditioning. and massive white and green pendant light fixtures. Apparently, the renovation was a success. In 1979, the Brady was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and since them has been the host to many of the greatest names in show business. Phil Collins, Glen Campbell, Devo, Cyndi Lauper, The Cars, and Robin Williams are just some of the artists to grace the Brady stage with more to come. So head on down to the Brady for some Great entertainment Western Classic Revival style.
