Who Are The Lumineers?
The Lumineers are an American folk-rock band formed by Wesley Schultz (vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion, piano) in 2005. Originally from New Jersey, the duo moved to Denver, Colorado, in 2009, where they refined their signature sound—a blend of evocative storytelling, foot-stomping energy, and indie-folk charm.
Their self-titled debut album in 2012 propelled them into the mainstream, earning them Grammy nominations and a devoted fan base. Over the years, The Lumineers have continued to evolve, releasing critically acclaimed albums like Cleopatra, III, and Brightside, and now, their latest record, Automatic, which showcases their deepening artistry and emotionally driven lyrics.
