The Stephen C. O Connell Center is a multi-purpose arena located on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville, FL. It opened in 1980 and has a capacity of 10,133. The arena hosts a number of sporting events and serves as the home field to the Florida Gators men’s and women’s basketball, women’s gymnastics, women’s volleyball, indoor track and swimming and diving teams. The arena was nicknamed the “O Dome” and ESPN named it the “House of Horrors” due to the fact that it is one of the toughest places to play college basketball.
