The Bijou Theatre is located in downtown Knoxville, TN. It was built in 1909 as an addition to the Lamar House Hotel and went through different incarnations as a vaudeville house, theatre and movie house. Today the 700 capacity theater serves predominantly as a music venue. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
